2. Principles
I process personal data only where this is necessary to operate this website, respond to your enquiry or carry out an order. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract and pre-contractual measures), Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligations), Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests) and, where I ask for your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Wix.com Ltd., 40 Namal Tel Aviv St., Tel Aviv 6350671, Israel. When you visit the website, Wix automatically processes technical data sent by your browser, in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the page visited, browser type, operating system and the previously visited page. This is necessary to deliver the website and keep it stable and secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with Wix. The European Commission has recognised Israel as providing an adequate level of data protection. Where Wix uses service providers in the USA, transfers are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or EU standard contractual clauses.
4. Contact form
If you use the contact form, I process the information you provide, for example your name, email address, phone number and details about your horse and your request. The form is transmitted via the FormSubmit service (formsubmit.co) and delivered to me by email. I use your information solely to respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, to arrange an appointment (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted once your enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Contact by email or phone
If you contact me by email or phone, I process your information to deal with your request on the same legal bases as for the contact form. Business correspondence is kept for the statutory periods (generally six to ten years under German commercial and tax law).
6. Fonts
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and from Fontshare (fontshare.com). In doing so, your IP address is transmitted to these providers. The fonts ensure a consistent and appealing presentation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
7. Cookies and tracking
I do not use any analytics, tracking or marketing tools on this website.
8. Instagram
This website contains a simple link to my Instagram profile. You are only redirected to Instagram when you click the link. Meta Platforms Ireland Limited's privacy policy applies there.
9. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.
Right to object: Where I process data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
An email to info@sattelbalance.com is all it takes. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.
10. Further information
Providing your data is voluntary. Without your contact details, however, I cannot respond to your enquiry. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling. For visitors from Switzerland, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) applies in addition; the rights described here are also available to you under it.
